Working

Friday, June 25th, 2004

I’ve been producing alot of artwork lately as well as flyers and brochures for my work. They’re keeping me busy, thankfully, which keeps the checks coming. I’ve paid off all debts and I am back to zero, now I just have to sell my truck, finance another vehicle, and get the remaining cash for college – then I’ll have it made!

Did some significant updating to the portfolio section of WWDesign earlier; you should check it out. Even better, refer me some business ;) .

I am Spider-Man.

For Sale: 1997 Dodge Ram 1500

Thursday, June 24th, 2004

Here it is: ‘97 Dodge Ram 1500 with 102,000 miles on it. I’m replacing the front bumper on July 9th with a brand-new factory chrome bumper and new plastic lining. The breaks were done in November, tires have about 75% tread left, wheels in excellent condition, new bearing and ring-and-pinion in the rear differential, interior is very clean. This truck looks much younger than it is!

I must sell my baby because of rising gas prices and my focus on college finances. The replacement will likely be a cheap Honda Civic or similar vehicle, although I am not sure where I am going to come up with the cash quite yet. Keep it in your prayers! God will provide; peace to you all.

Spider Sense

Wednesday, June 23rd, 2004

I can’t believe I haven’t posted anything about this…. Spider-Man 2 is almost here!!! The premiere in California was last night, but the movie doesn’t open in theatres until Wednesday the 30th. I have tickets to the Houston premiere on the 28th (thanks to my boss!), tickets to the midnight showing Wednesday morning on the Imax, and tickets to the first regular showing later on that day. It’s going to be incredible!

If you didn’t know, I am a Spider-Man fanatic. Just check this old picture of my room. There are even more posters now and other memorabilia. It’s gonna be crizazy!

Early Bird

Monday, June 21st, 2004

I feel productive today. I’ve been up since 5:30 this morning… Don’t know why, I just woke up and couldn’t go back to sleep. So, instead of laying around in bed like I usually would, I headed up to the church to see off the rest of the youth group as they left for camp. Then I drove the gym for an early work-out session, which was actually real nice because their weren’t many people there. After all that I came back home and cleaned up around the house, and now I’m gonna get ready to go to into the office for the day. If only I did this every day…

Middle School Food Fighters Arrested

Saturday, June 19th, 2004

How ridiculous is this: seven kids, ages twelve to fourteen, were arrested after being involved in a food fight at their school. The incident began at West Side Middle School after a girl dumped a fruit cup over a boy’s head. The two started fighting, then other students joined in, some jumping on tables and throwing food, police said. Cut ‘em a little slack, no? Read the full article for more info.
