Final Redemption

Monday, December 6th, 2004

Well, finals have started. I was up till 6am… working, and then I couldn’t sleep, so I watched Smokey and the Bandit 2 (good movie). Anyways, I slept through my alarms for my 8 & 9am classes until my roommate finally woke me up at 11:05. I had a final at 11, so I threw on some clothes and ran across campus to take the test. Hopefully I did well!

I visited Austin Stone church last night. I really enjoyed the worship service and was pleasently suprized to find that about 60% of the people in attendance were fellow college students. I’m going to be meeting with one of the group leaders this week to find out more about the church and college program. I’m pretty excited about it all…

Take it easy… free massages tomorrow!

Dorm Wars and Faces

Thursday, December 2nd, 2004

Earlier this evening, a most interesting thing happened: a pickle was accidently dropped on the floor and the resulting chaos was very exhilarating. Somehow, another pickle was thrown down the hall, then at a person, and then those two brought in others, and eventually pickles, oranges, compressed air, pumkins, and air-soft guns were added to the mix. Needless to say, it created quite a commotion.

The after math left spilled trash cans used as bunkers, exploded fruit on the walls, chunks of whatnot on the floors, and little plastic pellets everywhere. I, of course, was not involved in any way, nor do I know of the parties who were. ;-)

In other news, have you heard of The Face Book yet? It’s an online community-type thing that links you up with your friends in college. It’s actually quite addicting. You may view my page here.

Happy Belated Thanksgiving

Wednesday, December 1st, 2004

Yes, the break came and went with a rush. I feel like I blinked and it was over, and now I am already three days into school again.

I had a great time staying with my gracious sister Michelle in Houston. We had Thanksgiving dinner with Michelle and her husband Paul, my other sister Angella, Paul’s mother, and my mom. Truly a happy time, which is a novelty in my family around the holidays.

Well, it’s 3am and I’ve got an English paper to write…

Where am I now?
