CSS Ragweed

Ah, the close of another great day. Don’t ya just love it when the universe seems to be going your way?

Anyways, I leisurely woke up around 10am this morning, and went straight to work finishing off a new interface that I’ve been working on. The joy is that it incorporates what are known as Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). The older method of designing web sites uses “tables” to generate the layout, but that way is stagnant and doesn’t allow for easy modification of style elements across multiple pages. To make a long story short, CSS is way better and enables much cleaner and efficient control over web pages.

Tonight the university put on a big concert in Sewell Park, within walking distance of my dorm. The band featured was Cross Canadian Ragweed. They are a Texas band, and it showed, as the place was packed! My estimate is around two to three thousand people showed up. Too bad I forgot my digicam (as usual). I saw lots of my friends there and definitely enjoyed it all.

Now it’s time to work on my psychology project!
