Lovin’ It
Sunday, August 7th, 2005Things are great here in San Marvelous… Living in the fraternity house definitely leaves no room for dull moments. Partying all night, working all day. Good times. Went for a great float down the Comal River yesterday with about 20 of the fraternity brothers plus girls. Had a great time just messing around and chillin’ on the river.
I’ve also got a job interview tomorrow: delivering luggage for the airport. It sounds stupid, but it’s the perfect job for some extra cash on the side. I work as a contract worker, meaning that they give me a certain amount of luggage to deliver whenever I want work. I can work one day a month or all thirty–it doesn’t make any difference. If you didn’t know, I took my mom’s van back to school this semester. I was kind-of bummed out about it, but it’s going to be perfect for this job. Basically, I pick up X pieces of luggage from the airport and deliver them to hotels or residences and I get paid $5-$50 per piece, depending on how far I have to drive. I should be making about $200-$400 for a 10hr work day. Not bad, eh?
Till next time…
