Lovin’ It

Sunday, August 7th, 2005

Things are great here in San Marvelous… Living in the fraternity house definitely leaves no room for dull moments. Partying all night, working all day. Good times. Went for a great float down the Comal River yesterday with about 20 of the fraternity brothers plus girls. Had a great time just messing around and chillin’ on the river.

I’ve also got a job interview tomorrow: delivering luggage for the airport. It sounds stupid, but it’s the perfect job for some extra cash on the side. I work as a contract worker, meaning that they give me a certain amount of luggage to deliver whenever I want work. I can work one day a month or all thirty–it doesn’t make any difference. If you didn’t know, I took my mom’s van back to school this semester. I was kind-of bummed out about it, but it’s going to be perfect for this job. Basically, I pick up X pieces of luggage from the airport and deliver them to hotels or residences and I get paid $5-$50 per piece, depending on how far I have to drive. I should be making about $200-$400 for a 10hr work day. Not bad, eh?

Till next time…

Back in Black

I’m back in San Marcos and the crazy times have already begun! I got in town around 2:30 this afternoon, and chilled out by the pool and around the fraternity house (where I’m staying for two weeks). Saw a lot of friends, went out to eat at Gill’s, and all that good stuff.

Tonight, I was pulled out of a car by the cops–but didn’t receive any ticket–and threw down some other great stuff that perhaps I shouldn’t mention quite yet. Back to the college life, baby!

Where am I now?
