Monday night I drove to Austin to visit my sister Angie and her friend Jennifer, and I had a great time. I arrived around 8pm and we promptly piled into the car and drove over to Houston’s, an upscale restaurant where they both work. Filet minion was on the house! Gotta love it. The food was excellent and the conversation exquisite. I hadn’t seen Angie in at least three weeks, so I eagerly welcomed the break from my schedule to spend time with her. After dinner we three went back to Angie’s apartment and talked and jammed until two in the morning, at which time I insisted that I must return home to write a psychology paper that was due in the morning. Spending time with Angie always a joy and I really needed the pick-me-up. Good times!
