Headshots

Tuesday, April 11th, 2006

A little over a week ago, my friend Stephen was gracious enough to take my headshots for me at the theatre building on campus. He shot three full roles of film and produced many awesome photographs, but my favorite by far is this one. I’ll be using these this summer auditioning for as many productions as I can. Thanks again to Stephen for his wonderful work!

Yes, a Fite Nite wrap up and pictures are coming… give it time.

Just hours to go… The event of the year, Fite Nite, is almost here. Six months in the making, my baby is coming to life. These past six weeks have been the most stressful, though, and this week has been ridiculous. This was my schedule today…. 3am: drove to San Antonio to pick up programs; 5am: back in san marcos; 6am till 2pm: ran around from the quad, to campus, to my room, to Austin, and back coordinating the distribution of 4000 programs and ran my phone battery out twice; 2pm till 7pm: setting up at the Civic Center; then misc things until now. But, it will all be worth it come tomorrow night.

I can’t wait to de-streeeeeessss.

Have you ever wished you had stolen just one more kiss?

The countdown begins

Five days till lift-off… Fite Nite is less than a week away! The promo-party on Thursday went off without a hitch, bringing in a record crowd at Dillinger’s and almost filling the bar to capacity. If that is any indication of the kind of turn-out we’ll be seeing at the main event, this year is going to be huge! Finally, I can see all my hard work beginning to pay off.

Friday I had some headshots taken by my friend Stephen, and I can’t wait to see the results later this week. I plan on auditioning to as many productions as possible this summer, so a good set of headshots is necessary. And speaking of summer, a bunch of us pretended the easy-going days were already here and floated the river yesterday. For once, no one got arrested and the float was without incident! That really is a big accomplishment for us.

I used up my Saturday doing nothing productive, so today is work day. I’ve got a project and a paper due, a web site and poster design (not counting some various Fite Nite details). Oh, happy day…
