“The action of men are the best interpreters of their thoughts.”
- John Locke

Perhaps I simply analyze situations to an extent that could be described as excessive, but I feel once again that the direct action–or inaction–by persons uncovers a subconcious motivation, even if said motivation is not particularly evident to its originators. The short version is… well, you’ll just have to ask me.

Know When to Quit

Sunday, July 30th, 2006

Hmm… It’s 6:30am and my night is just ending. Why am I up so late/early, you ask? The short version is as follows: drunk asshole, won’t leave, thrown out, comes back to fight, thrown out again, drives car halfway off bridge, comes back to fight and breaks in front door, thrown out once again (this time “Roman style”), police called, tow truck and arrest… I go to sleep.

You should be proud of my self-restraint.

insomnia strikes again

Saturday, July 29th, 2006

1:45am… 2:03am… 2:50am… 3:16am… 3:42am… Insomnia grips me once again. As soon as I get a few days relief, it comes right back even stronger than before.

Nowhere to go but up

Big things planned, big things… Completing some new orders in the next two weeks, movie audition tomorrow, photo shoot on Saturday, and in less than a month I move on up to Austin in preparation for the fall school year. These past few months have been, well, wonderful and stressful at the same time. Seems every rose in my life has more than its fair share of thorns attached to it, with few exceptions. (Yes, you are an exception… you know who you are *wink*)

Hmm… odd medical experience this past week. To summarize, I’ve been experiencing severe insomnia since about August of 2005. I’ve tried taking many different prescription drugs, few of them provided legally, including pain killers and high doses of sleeping pills. None of it has worked. Well, this past week I finally went to see a doctor about it all and he prescribed me to the new Aderall XR. First time I took it, I passed out and slept for five hours. The next day, I had an incredible productive day and worked for twelve hours straight before falling asleep instantly. Stimulants for insomnia? The doc is a genious.

I’ve been keeping too busy with things unrelated to work and money, so my focus of the coming weeks is to make as much as possible.. and I have a plan. See you on the flip side.

It is quite a wonderful and charming, yet confusing and often frustrating experience to have found something for which you are completely enamored…
