I recently viewed the new film Superman Returns, and I was thoroughly disappointed. As with X-Men 3, Superman Returns leaves much to be desired. Being a fan of director Bryan Singer, and buying into all the hype this movie produced, I expected great things of Superman; but boy was I wrong. While fighting off boredom and the urge to simply “rest my eyes” for the entire 2hrs and 38min that the movie drags on, I did manage pick up on pieces of the horrid plot that is the backbone of this beached whale. There’s no need for me to write on the specific failures of the latest addition to the Superman franchise, so let me simply suggest that you save your money and pass on this flop.
